The beginning of a bronze fireplace.

This table was commissioned for a house in New York.

The bronze base was first carved and shaped in wood, then a mold made, then we cast it in bronze.

The walnut table top extends out to about fourteen feet.

The cast iron railings in this facade and entry renovation included removing all the fleur-de-lis from the center of each panel and replacing them with cast bronze disks featuring images of places and people significant to the homeowners. These included Grace Church (home of The Poetry Project), Saint Lucy, the patron saint of sight, and many musician friends. They were patina’ed dark to almost match the metallic black painted iron.

The beginning of new handrail and balusters over five floors.

They wanted a handrail that they could hold on to the entire way- to not have to let go at the beginning and end of each run of stairs- so the handrail sits on top of the newels rather than the newels extending above. This was finished black with a white liming paste to bring out the grain, then clearcoated and finished with wax. It feels so soft, you don’t want to let go.
